A mixed weekend with a strong P2 overall and P1 in class in Race 1, but frustrations in Race 2 after an early incident.
Race 1: We got an okay start, but it wasn’t enough to defend from behind, leaving us in P3 going into Turn 1. We held that position for the entire race, and upon crossing the line, we found out we’d been promoted to 2nd as the leader incurred a 5-second penalty. Very happy to finish P2 overall, P1 in class, and secure the fastest lap of the race.
Race 2: Things didn’t go well for long, as I had contact on lap 1 that spun me into the grass. I fought back from P22 to P14 but crossed the line fuming over the events of lap 1!
